Project positioning:
Shunde cuisine is a classic cuisine of Cantonese cuisine and one of the important birthplaces of Cantonese cuisine. It sprouted as early as the Qin and Han Dynasties and took shape in the Yuan and Ming dynasties. Since ancient times, China has had the saying "eat in Guangzhou and cook in Fengcheng". (i.e. Shunde)". Therefore, in order to highlight the long history of Shunde cuisine, the entire space design is mainly based on the new Chinese style. Through the use of a large number of wood veneers, red travertine and artistic paint, Shunde cuisine is vividly presented as clear, tender, fresh and delicious. The smooth characteristics and the aroma of food are expressed through space and architectural vocabulary, completing the transformation from smell, taste to vision.
Design is sometimes the art of color. For the harmony and matching of the color scheme, the designer used red travertine as a complement to the wood, which enriches the diversity of building materials and gives the space different possibilities. At the same time, the textures of wood and stone are very different in softness and hardness, but the colors are simultaneously unified. The colors of the same color series bloom in different textures. This difference creates a wonderfulvisual experience.
Space layout:
With the highly saturated colors of wood and stone, the designer supplemented the rest of the floor and walls with low-fidelity and harmonious colors, balancing the color concentration so that the mood of the space would not be too full. The clear marble and cascading partitions create a calm, indifferent and elegant space, with appropriate shades, light and dark contrasting each other, and both elegance and vulgarity can be appreciated.
Design material selection:
In terms of materials, the designer has made extensive use of wood, whether it is wooden tables and chairs, wood art ceilings, or some wood veneers. The ubiquitous wood fully expresses its own warm and steady texture, making people feel the passage of time. The long history and tradition of Shunde cuisine have been accumulated over time. The artistic roof adopts the style of wooden fence, and rattan baskets, thread-bound books and other objects are placed on it. It presents the layout of a table on the ground and a table in the sky, which creates an excellent sense of spatial hierarchy and visually depicts the composition of the facade. The wonderful effect of convergence and divergence makes the sensory experience of the space wider and grander.
User experience:
The layout of the dining table is staggered horizontally and diagonally, with clear sections, breaking the monotony and making the whole place neat and orderly.
