The 8th Conference of 100 Electric Vehicles Forum was held in Beijing from March 25th to 27th. He said that achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality must be guided by economic and social development and comprehensive green transformation, with green and low-carbon energy development as the key, and accelerating the formation of resource conservation and environmental protection. We must improve our industrial structure, production methods, lifestyles and spatial patterns, and unswervingly follow the path of high-quality development that prioritizes ecology, green and low carbon.
The power industry is the core and key to the green and low-carbon development of energy. Under the guidance of the new energy security strategy of "Four Revolutions and One Cooperation", my country has accelerated the low-carbon transformation of the power industry and achieved remarkable results in the adjustment of the energy and power structure.
According to reports, as of the end of 2020, my country's non-fossil energy development has reached a new level. The national installed renewable energy power generation capacity has historically exceeded 1 billion kilowatts, and new energy power generation has exceeded 1 billion kilowatts. 1 trillion kilowatt-hour, and the installed capacity of hydropower, wind power, and photovoltaics has exceeded 300 million kilowatts. By accelerating the construction of optimal allocation capabilities of power grid resources, we have taken multiple measures to improve the power system's regulation capabilities. The utilization rate of wind power, photovoltaic and hydro energy has reached or exceeded 97%.
Improving the electrification of end-use energy is the key to achieving dual carbon goals and building a new power system. With the continuous vigorous promotion of the country and the active efforts of various market entities, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in my country have continued to grow rapidly, driving the vehicle energy system to shift from traditional energy to clean energy such as electricity. In terms of charging infrastructure construction, in recent years, the National Energy Administration, together with relevant departments, has introduced a series of support policies. As of the end of 2021, the number of charging infrastructure units nationwide reached 2.62 million units, and the charging infrastructure network is becoming increasingly complete.
However, it should be noted that achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals requires the joint efforts of various industries, including transportation and energy. From now on, there will be less than 10 years before carbon peaks. The "14th Five-Year Plan" is a critical period and a window period. In this context, on the premise of ensuring the safe supply of energy and electricity, how to promote new energy vehicles Coordinated development of industry and energy and power transformation.
Based on this, he made the following three suggestions:
 First, top-level design should play a role.
From a comprehensive and forward-looking perspective, coordinate the top-level design of new energy vehicles and energy development, and systematically evaluate the carbon reduction potential, energy supply paths and energy requirements. Clarify the main methods, key goals and tasks for the coordination of new energy vehicles and energy systems oriented towards dual carbon goals. The system deploys cross-industry integration of technological innovation, standard formulation and industrialization to lay a good planning foundation for coordinated development.
 Second, we must continue to improve charging infrastructure support capabilities.
At the beginning of the year, the National Energy Administration, together with nine ministries and commissions, jointly issued the "Implementation Opinions on Further Improving the Service Guarantee Capacity of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure", focusing on accelerating the promotion of charging in residential communities. We have proposed a series of policies and measures in terms of facility construction and installation, improving the charging and swapping capabilities in urban and rural areas, strengthening the operation and maintenance of charging and swapping facilities and network services, and improving supporting power grid construction and power supply services. We will work with relevant departments to actively promote the implementation of this "Implementation Opinion", continue to improve the support capabilities of charging infrastructure, and assist the development of new energy vehicles.
Third, support technological innovation in the integration of new energy vehicles and power systems.
Encourage industry organizations and enterprises to carry out demonstrations of orderly charging, V2G and other technology applications, accelerate the research and development of advanced technologies such as flexible charging, wireless charging, and automatic charging, and promote new energy vehicles The innovative development of green energy integration technology with the power system encourages car companies to develop new energy vehicles with rich vehicle-network interaction functions, promotes the integration and connection of people, vehicles, piles, networks, clouds and other links, and supports operating companies to increase two-way charging Strengthen the construction of piles and realize the promotion of industrial integration development through scientific and technological innovation.
He believes that on the one hand, the development of electric vehicles is due to the transportation industry’s demand for carbon reduction, and on the other hand, it is one of the important factors in the construction process of new power systems.
