The three parties jointly build and share a 5G smart marine laboratory, giving full play to their respective advantages, trying to achieve deep-sea fish farming and breeding, comprehensive Water quality monitoring, underwater robot inspection and fishing, AI fish intelligent algorithm development and other forward-looking fields have achieved breakthroughs.

Li Jie, Vice President of Huawei’s wireless network product line, pointed out that driven by 5G construction, 5G smart ocean applications have gradually penetrated into the overall development of the marine economy, and have been used in smart fish rafts, mobile law enforcement, and maritime Business scenarios such as ranching play an important role.

Huawei will provide leading 5G marine private network solutions in laboratory operations, providing network features such as large uplink, low latency, and slicing for marine data collection, transmission, and aggregation.

In the future, the 5G Smart Marine Laboratory will leverage Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University’s academic research in marine fish farming and breeding, underwater robots, etc., and integrate the leading 5G networks of Fujian Mobile and Huawei Solution, take the lead in maturing 5G+AI marine farming solutions.
